In the following, we have compiled answers to frequently asked questions (FAQs) for you.

Stand Set-up

The stands are only available to rent as ready-made modules (circles) and wall units. Both are available in three different sizes.

The hall managers’ office is marked by pictograms. The hall manager is your first point of contact for all on-the-spot questions.

Concept / Services

This means that exhibitors will send their products to Floradecora before the start of the event. The flowers and plants will be unpacked, labelled, sorted, categorised. They’ll then be put into vases and containers and positioned appropriately on the tables provided. Full service includes daily checks on the flowers and plants and substitution with fresh ones if necessary.

It is obligatory to display your products on the table top display areas. This is included in the rental package price. The concept is a new way of presenting products. It puts the focus on the products themselves to set the ordering process in motion.

Presenting the products on different table tops will make it possible to reach potential buyers much more easily than by just displaying them on your exhibition stand (Red roses on table A, white roses on table B, and yellow roses on table C, etc.).

This is the task of our qualified staff. They are extremely knowledgeable and know what the job entails.

Direct face to face conversations about quotes and sales agreements will take place inside the Flowercircle exhibition stands.

All the vases and plant pots will have labels on them saying who the producer is and where the product can be found, and giving the number of the stand so that buyers can make contact with them.

Our assistants will be on hand to explain the information to buyers if necessary and show them the way to the relevant stand.

Of course you will be able to join up with other flower and plant producers. If you want to do this, we recommend to book a Flowercircle Advanded M. This includes 32 vases or 64 plant units. It is also possible to book additional vases and plant units in sets of 8 pcs.

At the Press Centre you can hire a press compartment for your printed press materials. In addition to this, you can book an online-press compartment for textual and photographic materials, so you can present the media with your innovations.

If you would like to organise a press briefing at your stand or in a conference room at the Exhibition Centre, we can enter the date in our official list of press appointments. Apart from this, we can also help with organising a suitable conference room.

Moreover, during the fair, wireless access to the Internet is available to you – as a registered user - free of charge throughout the fairgrounds. This service is suitable for accessing websites and occasionally checking and sending emails. Extensive Wi-Fi use throughout the fairgrounds may limit coverage at individual locations.

Waste accumulating at the stand during the course of the fair is disposed of by the exhibition company. At the end of the fair, please place the bag containing the waste in the aisle. For larger amounts we ask you to order a waste container.

During the set-up and dismantling period you can dispose of special waste such as paints, lacquers etc, in the collection containers provided. For all other kinds of waste please order an appropriate container. Should you have any questions, please contact:

Arrival / Set-up and Dismantling / Parking Regulations

During the general set-up and dismantling times, it is permitted to work in the halls non-stop, in other words, 24 hours. Carpet is fitted from 3 pm onwards on the last set-up day. From this point in time the hallways must be kept clear. For the event, we lay a coloured carpet in all the aisles.

 

For cars with a gross vehicle weight of up to 2.5 tons we make parking spaces available at the exhibition grounds or in the Rebstock multi-storey car park. There is a parking fee. Vans and lorries can be parked in the lorry park of Messe Frankfurt Venue GmbH, Rebstock Parking Area E and E1. There is also a parking fee for this.

Vehicles delivering goods are permitted to enter the fairground during the days of the fair for one hour. To ensure the time limit is observed, each driver leaves a deposit of EUR 100, which is not returned if the one-hour period is exceeded.

The City of Frankfurt’s low emission zone is located within the orbital motorway, which is marked off by the A5 Federal Motorway in the West, the A3 in the South and the A661 in the East. For vehicles belonging to the appropriate emissions group and the emissions sticker to go with it, it is possible to access the fair at any time. Vehicles without a sticker may also access the fair and exhibition centre via West Gate and North Gate. Coming from the A5, these can be reached via Motorway A648, taking the ‘Rebstock’ exit, or via the Katharinenkreisel roundabout. Messe Frankfurt’s Rebstock multi-storey car park can also be reached by taking the Rebstock exit.

Check-in / Vehicle registration

There are two ways in which you can register your vehicle. You can register your vehicle in advance online, or you can register on site at Messe Frankfurt’s registration areas on the day you wish to enter. To do so, please follow the “Check-In” signs.

On site, Traffic Service employees will record your registration information in the designated registration areas.  

You will require the following information to register your vehicle:

  • Driver’s name
  • Driver’s mobile phone number
  • Hall and stand number
  • Exhibitor’s name
  • Vehicle plate number

If you registered online, you can print out your vehicle pass yourself. If you register on site, you will be given your vehicle pass at the gate where you enter Messe Frankfurt.

We will make an unloading area available to you for an allotted time slot during the period for which you have registered. When you arrive at the “Check-In”, permission to enter the exhibition grounds will be granted if there is an available unloading area.

In the event that the vehicle plate number changes, please report to the registration area on the day you wish to enter. Personnel on site will update the information for you.

Registration can also be carried out without the vehicle plate number (it is not a required field). The missing vehicle plate number will be entered at the “Check-In”.

If you need to unload items at multiple exhibition halls, please be sure to list the stand number for the first stand where you have to unload!

As soon as an unloading area becomes available at your exhibition hall, as the driver you will be sent an SMS text message containing your entry time and the corresponding entry gate.

No, it is necessary to report to the “Check-In” even if you have registered in advance. It is only at the “Check-In” that you will be given final permission to enter the exhibition grounds.

No – in order to be able to obtain a parking pass for the exhibition grounds while the event is in progress, you must order a parking pass online from Messe Frankfurt’s Shop for Exhibitor Services.

If you have registered a MyAccount and used this to complete your online registration, your master data will be saved for subsequent registrations.

When you depart the exhibition grounds in your vehicle, you will give your vehicle pass to personnel at the gate, or they will simply scan it in order to register your departure.

No – a vehicle pass is only valid for one entry and exit.

The driver receives information via SMS text messages.

In order to receive notification of when to go from the registration area to the exhibition grounds, a mobile communication device is absolutely essential.

Employees of the Traffic and Logistics Service [Verkehrs- und Logistikservice] are available at the Rebstock car park. You will find them in the “Verkehrs- und Logistikservice” office container or at the registration areas on site.

Exhibitor passes / Parking vouchers / Set-up and dismantling passes / Admission ticket vouchers

Depending on the size of the stand, there is the following free quota for set-up and dismantling passes:

  • Flowercircle Standard S = 12sqm: 4 pcs
  • Flowercircle Advanced M = 28sqm: 5 pcs
  • Flowercircle Premium L = 113sqm: 15 pcs
  • Wall stand S = 12m²:  4 pcs
  • Wall stand M = 18m²: 4 pcs
  • Wall stand L = 24m²: 5 pcs

These passes are intended exclusively for the stand set-up and dismantling phases. All those involved in set-up and dismantling must be equipped with this type of pass, which must be worn so that it is clearly visible. The set-up and dismantling passes are sent with the service documents; additional passes may be ordered free of charge by sending an email to floradecora@messefrankfurt.com

You can obtain the set-up and dismantling passes on location at the Service-Centre Torhaus, Level 2 in the Exhibition Management Office (Team Office).

Depending on the size of the stand, there is the following free quota for exhibitor passes:

  • Flowercircle Standard S = 12sqm: 4 pcs
  • Flowercircle Advanced M = 28sqm: 5 pcs
  • Flowercircle Premium L = 113sqm: 15 pcs
  • Wall stand S = 12m²:  4 pcs
  • Wall stand M = 18m²: 4 pcs
  • Wall stand L = 24m²: 5 pcs

The exhibitor passes are valid only for the duration of the event. They entitle the holder to enter the exhibition grounds / the halls as a rule one hour before the official opening times. These passes are intended solely for the exhibitors and the stand personnel; they must not be passed on to customers.

Any additional requirements may be covered subject to a charge.

The exhibitor passes are sent together with the service documents; additional passes are subject to a charge and may be acquired from Shop for Exhibitor Services for EUR 43 each. Additional exhibitor passes can also be purchased at the fair itself for EUR 65 each. You can obtain the latter at the Central Information Desk in the Service Centre Torhaus, Level 3.

These vouchers (permanent admission vouchers) are valid throughout the event; they entitle the holder to enter the fair and exhibition centre during opening times. Depending on the size of the stand, the exhibitor receives the following free quota of admission ticket vouchers to be passed on to visitors / purchasers:

  • Flowercircle Standard S = 12sqm: 50 pcs
  • Flowercircle Advanced M = 28sqm: 100 pcs
  • Flowercircle Premium L = 113sqm: 200 pcs
  • Wall stand S = 12m²:  25 pcs
  • Wall stand M = 18m²: 50 pcs
  • Wall stand L = 24m²: 75 pcs

The admission ticket vouchers are sent together with the promotion documents.

Additional vouchers may be ordered from Shop for Exhibitor Services at a charge of EUR 6 each. The exhibitor will only be charged for vouchers that are actually redeemed.

Depending on the size of the stand, there is the following free quota for parking tickets:

  • Flowercircle Standard S = 12sqm: 1 pc
  • Flowercircle Advanced M = 28sqm: 2 pcs
  • Flowercircle Premium L = 113sqm: 3 pcs

These tickets are valid throughout the event. Additional parking tickets can be ordered via Shop for Exhibitor Services. They will be sent to you by post at the latest 3 weeks before the fair.

Wall stands = no free quota. Please order your parking tickets at Shop for Exhibitor Services.
